Overview
University of Kyrenia, established in 2013, is one of the fastest growing universities in Cyprus with its; Student-centered innovative and participatory learning approach; Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry provide well-rounded education having all the benefits of the university’s hospital and dental hospital, which are equipped with latest technology infrastructure, medical laboratories and imaging equipments; Professional Pilot Training Department under Faculty of Aviation and Space Sciences provides practical training with the Flight Simulation Training Device and the University’s two training planes; Faculties, Academy and Vocational School programs specialized in Maritime and Maritime Management subjects provides training with advanced ship simulation rooms, two training and research vessels; Programs tailored to meet the international quality level of public and private sectors; Working with the best in class academic and administrative staff; Opportunity to access and use resources, infrastructure and 30 years of industry experience of sister university - Near East University (NEU); Modern campus situated along the seashore, at a safe location and near the city center; University of Kyrenia has a total of 59 programs with 14 Faculties, 1 Academy, 7 Vocational Schools and 13 Postgraduate Programs. All programs are approved by YODAK/YOK. Medium of instruction is both in English and Turkish.

Campus Life
Beside its historic sites and natural beauties, Northern Cyprus offers opportunities for students to improve themselves and become more social with alternatives such as paragliding, camping, hiking routes and cultural festivals. Our university organizes variety of student activities throughout the year: Orientation programs for freshers, International Students Day, White Coat Ceremonies, Career Days, Marine Programs Uniform Transition Days, Spring Festival, various events, conferences, seminars, etc.
